Family Coat of Arms

The Rajčány (Slovakian) name was 'adopted' by the Hungarian and the Rajcsányi de Rajcsany family name was proclaimed noble by the Hungarian King after ancestor Kurus (1033) saved the King from a bear attack.

The Rajcsányi de Rajcsany family have their own, official noble Coat of Arms depicting the heroic act. History and family records depict various Coat of Arms used by the Raj clan descendants including the Rajčány family in the Great Moravian and Hungarian Kingdoms.

Present-day living family nobles have their own individual family Coat of Arms. Modern-day Coat of Arms

Milan Rajčány Coat of Arms

My personal coat of arms is currently going through the final process before being proclaimed. Numerous current, living nobles have registered their personal coat of arms in the 'HERALDIC REGISTRY OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC' as managed by 'Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic, Public Administration Section,
Department of Archives and Registries'. I'm currently investigating the legal issues associated with ownership rights when one 'registers' their own coat of arms with the Slovak government. I will publish, proclaim and if applicable, register my own coat of arms. In the meantime, my family and also the personal coat of arms designs are in the private.
